Writer Agreement

1. Revenue Split

Voxography splits all monetization revenue 75% to the writer, 25% to the platform. This applies across every revenue channel:

Revenue shares are calculated on net receipts (after payment processor fees). Payouts are issued according to the payout schedule in your writer dashboard, typically within 30 days of the earnings period closing, subject to a minimum payout threshold.

Voxography reserves the right to modify the revenue split with 30 days' written notice to active writers. Changes do not apply retroactively to earnings already accrued.

2. Writer-Controlled Pricing

You set your own prices. Voxography does not dictate what you charge your readers.

• Completed books / full works: $1.00 – $100.00
• Individual episodes / chapters: $0.25 – $5.00
• Writer subscriptions: Priced by you within the platform's supported range

You also control whether ad-supported free access is enabled on a per-content-piece basis. You may mix and match: some chapters free, some paid, some ad-supported — entirely your choice.

3. Content Ownership

You own everything you create.

By publishing on Voxography, you grant the platform a non-exclusive, revocable license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you remove your content or close your account.

No exclusivity requirement. You are free to publish the same work on other platforms simultaneously — Wattpad, Kindle, Substack, your own website, or anywhere else. Voxography does not require or request exclusivity.

4. Content Portability & Export

Your work is always yours to take with you.

• Download your finished works and cover art at any time from your writer dashboard
• Zero export fees — we will never charge you to access your own content
• No lock-in — you can leave the platform at any time and take all your files with you
• Exports are provided in standard formats (plain text and/or PDF)

We are committed to never holding your creative work hostage. If Voxography ever shuts down, we will provide writers with at least 60 days' notice and download access before any service termination.

5. AI Tools Usage

Voxography offers optional AI-powered writing tools to help you create. Using these tools is entirely optional. Current AI-assisted features include:

• Spell check & grammar editing — AI-assisted proofreading of your drafts
• Cover art generation — AI image generation to create or suggest cover art for your stories

When you use AI-assisted writing tools, your text input may be processed by third-party AI model providers under their applicable terms. We do not use your content to train AI models without explicit consent.

6. AI Voice Narration

Voxography offers AI voice narration — your written chapters are automatically converted to audio for readers using AI text-to-speech synthesis.

By publishing content on Voxography with narration enabled, you grant the platform a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Process your published text through AI voice synthesis systems to produce audio narration
• Deliver that narrated audio to readers accessing your content on the platform

This narration license is tied to your content being live on Voxography. If you remove your content or close your account, we will cease producing and serving new narration of your work. The AI-generated narration audio is a platform feature — it is not sold independently and does not constitute a human vocal performance.

You may disable AI narration for individual works at any time from your story settings.

7. Writer Liability & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you publish on Voxography. By publishing, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to publish all content, including text, images, and any embedded third-party material
• Your content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other intellectual property right
• Your content does not violate any applicable law, including laws related to defamation, privacy, obscenity, or consumer protection
• You are solely responsible for any claims, damages, or disputes arising from your published content

Voxography is not liable for any claims arising from writer-published content. If a third party files a claim against the platform based on your content, you agree to indemnify and hold Voxography harmless from any resulting costs, damages, or legal fees.

8. Account Termination

This section covers what happens when a writer leaves or is removed from the platform.

Voluntary departure: If you close your account or remove your content, your stories will be unpublished and made unavailable to readers. You retain full ownership of all your work and may export it at any time before or during account closure. Earned but unpaid revenue will be disbursed according to the standard payout schedule.

Platform-initiated removal (policy violation): If Voxography suspends or terminates your account for violation of these terms or our content guidelines:

• Your content will be removed from public access immediately
• Earned revenue accrued before the termination date will be paid out, minus any amounts owed for chargebacks, refunds, or fees directly caused by the violation
• Revenue directly tied to the violating content may be withheld at our discretion
• You will have 30 days after termination to request an export of your non-violating content

Platform shutdown: If Voxography ceases operations, we will provide all active writers with a minimum 60-day notice period and full download access to their content before any shutdown date.
